My research mainly focused on the molecular phylogeny and evolution of insects based on mitochondrial genome data. Since taking part in the work, i have published four SCI papers as the first author. During last decades, his work covers a wide area for biology and IPM/IRM of several important pests in cotton system, which includes: (1) migratory behavior of cotton bollworm; (2) controlling strategy of insect pests in cotton field; (3) the effects of growing Bt cotton on the evolution of the status of pests in the ecosystem of cotton fields; (4) monitoring and risk evaluation of the resistance of target pests to Bt cotton.
